Good Karma Photo is a Denver Colorado company founded in 2007. When I was moving to Denver in 2006, I searched the webs MLS listings and saw bad, dark photos and ‘spin around’ (360 Panorama) photos, which distort rooms terribly. I couldn’t tell what the homes really looked like so I had to waste my time going to home after home without being able to narrow my choices down beforehand. This was also a waste of time for my realtor and the homeowners. I realized that good quality, true representations of homes through professional photography and custom motion virtual tours were needed badly in this market. My goal was, and still is to provide a great representation of the home on the Internet, which therefore will sell from fewer showings making the process easier and faster for the Realtor, homeowner, and homebuyer.
Before founding Good Karma I spent 20 years in the retail industry moving up from Sales Associate to Regional Director with hundreds of stores under my supervision. Of all the positions I held, that of Sales Associate was my favorite because this was the position where you stood face to face with the customer and made sure they were very happy with your service. This is still my favorite part of the job- Photographing the home, interacting with the homeowner and realtor, and making sure all are thrilled with the results. At Good Karma my motto is ‘If you’re not happy, we’re not finished’.
